What does the negotiation process look like once I receive an offer on my home?

Receiving an offer on your home can bring a rush of emotions. Excitement, relief, nervousness, and even doubt often show up all at once. This is where clear guidance matters most.

Negotiation is not just about the price. It includes timelines, contingencies, closing costs, financing strength, and how smoothly the deal is likely to move forward. My job is to slow the moment down and help you see the full picture before reacting emotionally.

We review every part of the offer together. I explain what is standard, what is flexible, and what could become a problem later. In Craighead County, negotiations are often straightforward, but every situation is unique.

You always have options. You can accept, reject, or counter an offer. A counteroffer may involve price, possession timing, repairs, or deadlines. The goal is not to “win” the negotiation, but to create an agreement that feels fair and secure.

Strong negotiation creates confidence. You should never feel pressured or unsure. When you understand your options, decisions become easier and less stressful.
